Jake Phillips was honored to be awarded the IWCOA 2025 2A Coach of The Year. He was recognized for his leadership, dedication, and guidance for the young female wrestlers. Under his coaching the girls haven’t only become better athletes, but better people. They have learned how to fight adversity on and off the mat, because of Phillips. Junior Isaiah Torres spoke to him one on one about the honor.
