About the Contributor

Shaya King, Writer
Shaya King is a sophomore at MCHS. She was born in Mason City. She loves art, music, cats, and video games. When she graduates high school, Shaya plans to study at NIACC. She wants to be a school counselor because she always felt as though Mrs. Mann, the school counselor at MCHS, is like a second mother figure, someone she can really talk to.
Shaya is taking journalism because she enjoys writing and has been told by her mom and others that she is good at writing. She enjoys hanging out with her friends in school. When she’s not at school she is usually playing video games with her friends online all around the world.
