Ava Benson is 15 years old. She joined the Riverhawk Press to become better at writing. "I'm in the yearbook class and wanted to get into journalism because I like the news. I want to know what's happening in the world and students' lives."

This is also Ava's first year on the Riverhawk Girls Swim Team. She likes working and plans to take her CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to work at a nursing home.
