Mya Sanchez joined the Riverhawk Press as a junior in August 2025. Her goal for high school is to maintain and graduate with a 4.0 GPA so that she can be accepted into Columbia. She writes short stories and paints in her free time, as well as spends time with her pet cat she got when she was ten. She can’t stand the winter despite loving the snow. When she’s not studying for school, she spends her day at her part-time job at McDonald’s.
