Mason City High Schoolers had a lot to celebrate before heading into the holidays. They started their Tuesday before break at a pep assembly announcing the ‘good things’ happening with the sports teams and clubs. They also played a human version of Hungry Hippos and watched a teacher get pied in the face- for a good cause. Later in the day, Spanish classes spread holiday cheer by caroling from room to room. Riverhawk photographers Christopher Bierbrodt and Aukenio Okin caught the day in photos.
