Jaylen Dolliver, Staff

Hello everyone. My name is Jaylen Dolliver. I attend Mason City High School, where I’m a part of Ms Scholl’s Journalism & Yearbook class, & Captain of the Minority Student Union.  I come from Wayne, Michigan, and I moved in December of 2024. I am now a senior in high school and plan to pursue a career in welding. If there’s anything this school has taught me, it’s to take advantage of all the opportunities that come your way. I joined Ms Scholl’s Journalism class because I found it pretty interesting, and Ms Scholl has helped me out a lot within that class, helped me write my first article, and is helping me get it published. Outside of school, I like to do some stuff in my free time, like play video games and listen to music. I try to stream every day or every other day, depending on how I’m feeling after I’ve done what I need to for the day. I’m also a mentor for a student at Jefferson. This school has taught me a lot, and I value everything I learned and appreciate everyone who helped me get to where I am now. ~ Jaylen Dolliver
